Position Title: Engagement Coordinator
Department: Extended Lrng/Community Engmnt
Term of Assignment: Two-year term
Term End Date, If Applicable: June 30, 2027
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt = overtime eligible
Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional evening and weekend work required.
Salary: Targeted Salary Range: $43,840-$47,100
Travel: 26-50%
Brief Statement of Duties: Serve as the liaison for the 60-Year Curriculum (60-YC) (i.e., lifelong learning, micro-credentials, credit & non-credit learning) through the Extended Learning & Community Engagement (ELCE) department, providing outreach to prospective and current students about flexible, short-term, online credentials and degree offerings. Plan engagement opportunities for students and the general public, coordinate in-service learning, manage systems related to, arrange publicity, speakers/workshops, and physical accommodations as necessary for ELCE and the 60-YC.

Required Specialized Training/Certifications:
Required Minimum Work Experience: Two years working in an education setting (formal or informal).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Proficient with technology, e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, web-page, social media, and digital office applications.
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with various populations and stakeholder groups.
Ability to promote and market outreach for lifelong learning and the 60YC.
Ability to work in an educational setting and understand current trends and issues in higher education.
Ability to coordinate the planning and delivery of professional learning events.
Ability to engage with others regarding lifelong learning and the 60YC.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Highly organized.
Self-motivated, self-starting, and self-directed.
High degree of professionalism and a desire to work collaboratively with many stakeholders.
Grant writing experience.
Background in marketing or promoting events or programs.
