Position Title: Executive Administrative Assistant

Department:  Student Success

Term of Assignment: Continuing

Term End Date, If Applicable:             

FLSA Status:   Non-Exempt = overtime eligible

Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Salary: Hourly rate: $18.00

Travel: No travel

Brief Statement of Duties

Brief Statement of Duties: Provide support for the Student Success Department, including support for the central Student Success Office, Success Advisors housed in offices/departments across campus, Academic Support Program, Educational Success Platform (ESP), Perkins grant, tutoring, and various additional student success initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: High School Graduation or Equivalent

Required Minimum Work Experience:  Five years progressive office work experience or a Bachelor's Degree.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: 

Excellent customer service skills.
Critical thinking and problem solving ability.
Ability to effectively and efficiently handle a variety of office processes or procedures with minimal supervision.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with diverse groups of students, faculty, staff, and outside constituents in a manner which positively reflects upon the advising office and the university.

Provide high level customer service to include analyzing, interpreting and explaining complex student account data; assisting with problem resolution; and processing financial transactions for the Student Service Center.

Serve as a cross-functional admissions recruiter supporting both traditional on-campus undergraduate and Global Campus enrollment initiatives, with a strategic emphasis on transfer, adult, and online learners. Assist in the implementation of research protocols and procedures as related to the delivery of ABA services. On- and off-campus services will be provided that are billed to insurance, Medicaid, and agencies.
